CHEMICAL DECOATING IS A PROCESS WHICH INVOLVES BRUSHING OR SPRAYING A GEL ON ALL METAL PARTS OF THE AIRCRAFT TO REMOVE THE VARIOUS COATS OF PAINT AND THEN ACCESS THE BARE STRUCTURE OF THE AIRCRAFT.
THIS TECHNIQUE MAKES IT EASIER TO DETECT CRACKS, CORROSION DEPARTS AND ANY OTHER DEFECTS WHICH MAY BE HIDDEN UNDER THE PAINT.
THANKS TO THIS METHOD YOUR AIRCRAFT WILL NOT GAIN WEIGHT WHEN PAINTED AGAIN, AGAINST CLASSIC SANDING.
